Our School
St Angela’s NS is a large multi-cultural girls’ primary school situated in the heart of Mayo’s county town, Castlebar. In September 2022 we are amalgamating with @StPatricksBNS to provide coeducation to all pupils.
We are very proud of our very talented students, our deeply committed and highly skilled staff and our state of the art facilities including our fine assembly hall, our playground/clós spraoi, attractively presented classrooms, our 'Snug' or sensory room, a recently refurbished ICT room and most especially a fabulous environment tucked away in the centre of the urban setting.
We are a primary school with a Catholic ethos, under the patronage of the Archdiocese of Tuam, and we also have a long history of offering a big ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ or warm welcome to children of all faiths.
