Rainbows is a national children’s voluntary service with an average of 6,000 children and young people coming into the service every year throughout Ireland. Rainbows supports children and young people in groups. There are groups for children and young people who have been affected by the death of a close family member and there are groups for children and young people whose family has changed because their parents have separated or divorced. These videos show care week in action in our school. Sarah in 3rd class composed a song for Care Week in St Angela's and she visited all the classrooms to sing it. 4th Class sang along with her for our Care Week assembly. Thank you to all the people involved in Care Week.

We are so lucky to have become involved with music Generation Mayo with the fabulous Ukelele project. Our girls in 4th Class have really taken to it and are producing great music. Can you believe it's that time of year again? Our annual Bring and Buy Cake Sale takes place next Wednesday October 9th. We hope everyone gets behind 6th Class in this venture. The children really look forward to this day. If anyone is shopping this weekend they might like to remember that everyone in the whole school community is invited to bake goods. Funds raised are used to help us make charitable donations throughout the year and to buy any additional necessary school
