Autumn is Here

Looking around the grounds of our school we can see that it is autumn now. The leaves have changed colour and are now red, orange, yellow and brown. They are starting to fall off the trees.

In Senior Infants we decided to go and explore around our school and see the different signs of autumn. We found lots of different leaves from horse chestnut, oak and beech trees. We found conkers and spiky conker husks. We found beech husks and crab apples too.

We collected a lot of things to add to the nature table in our classrooms.
