Senior Assembly

Children from 4th class led an assembly today where we talked about lots of thins we had been taught and been learning in our school. The children dramatised the story of the Children of Lir for us and sang a beautiful song 'The Children of Lir.' They also outlined for us their recent participation in the Mayo Science Build a raft competition in Westport. They outlined their task and explained how the procedure involved. We were so proud of them.

We also recognised the great successes enjoyed here recently in the area of Sport - Futsal, Camogie and Coss Country. We also spoke of the great work being done in 5th classs with their famous perople projects and the work being done, studying Europe in 6th Class as part of the Blue Star Project. Second and Third Class were highly commended also for their participation in the Golden Mile.
