Out Of This World Art

In Senior Infants we have been learning about the night sky and the things we can see at night, like the moon and the stars.

We made some lovely art about travelling through space. First we coloured in a rocket and cut it out. Then to make our planets we put a circle into a salad spinner.

Then we picked three different paint colours to squirt onto the paper.

Next we spun the salad spinner around.

When we finished spinning the paint around we had a lovely design to use as our planet in our picture.

When our spin-painted planet was dry we stuck that onto a black paper, along with our coloured in rocket, and added some stars to our picture too.
