Head Lice Information

At the start of the school year let's work together to prevent head lice. We ask that children have their hair tied back on a daily basis. We also ask you to fine comb your child's hair at least weekly and report any issue to the school. You must deal with the issue immediately. If you are asked by the school to check your child's hair it is VITAL that everyone does it on that night and that remedial action is taken immediately if necessary. It is unfair if everyone does not act promptly. Bed linen, coats etc needs to be washed at a high temperature if head lice are found on a child's head.
