Santa Stroll 2019

Today was a great day for our school community. Our Parents' Association organised a wonderful Santa Stroll for the children. The weather outside was looking quite frightful at 9.15 am but then Santa came to stay and the weather became quite delightful. We were so proud of the girls who walked around town sporting their Christmas colours and spreading great cheer. None of this could have been possible without the support of their parents and families. Lots of people helped out here too. The whole staff contributed to a very successful day. Santa was amazing and got great help from Mrs Claus and his elpers. Thanks to teh local businesses who sponsored our raffle - Harvey Normans, Swirl, Gree

Science Week

St. Angela’s and Irish Water Collaborate for Science Week On Friday 15th November, representatives from Irish Water visited St. Angela’s NS to celebrate Science Week. Over 100 students were taught where their water comes from, how it is treated and how to conserve it. The representatives carried out experiments with 4th,5th and 6th class pupils. Then the children attended a Question/Answer session where they were informed about how the Irish water system works and how we can preserve water. Sincere thanks to all the classes who are putting on individual Christmas productions this year. As you can imagine huge thought, preparations and work goes into these shows. We are lucky to have such a talented staff and student body and we are really excited and looking forward to seeing these shows.

Santa Stroll 2019

Here is a letter from our fantastic volunteers on our Parents' Association who are putting a lot of work and thought into the organisation of this years's Santa Stroll. We wish them well in this endeavour and we are looking forward to the day - hopefully the weather will be kinder to us! We may all need to wrap up well and bring spare clothes in case.
