The following update was released by the DES on 25/02/2019 Revised information for schools, pre-schools and third level institutions on the Coronavirus The Department of Education and Skills has updated information for schools, preschools and third level institutions on Covid-19; provided by the Department of Health and HSE Health Protection Surveillance Centre following a meeting of the National Public Health Emergency Team. More Creations from 3rd Class

Third Class have also enjoyed making St Brigid's Crosses and learning about the great pyramids of Egypt and other aspects of Ancient Egypt.

Cross Curricular Creativity in 5th Class

Fifth Class have been studying and responding to the poetry of WB Yeats and have some beautiful published works! They have also been honouring the tradition of the past of making St Brigid's Crosses. All areas of the brain being developed in this very active learning!

Station Learning in Junior Infants

Junior Infants are doing fantastic work on Ready Set Maths and counting with a lot of other skills being developed like team work/turn taking/collaborative learning/ problem solving. We love this happy and active Friday session.

Third Class build houses!

There is huge amount of talk in the media about the housing shortage. Third Class have been designing and developing their own houses and haven't they done a fabulous job! Dermot Bannon watch out!

Orienteering in 6th!

Sixth Class together with their teachers Ms Moran, Ms O'Malley adn SNA Ms Brett had a really enjoyable day in Lough Lannagh village courtesy of Jarlath and Castlebar Sports SAdventure Hub. They learened a lot of orienteerig skills includin puunching electronic controls. This was followed by a days activity in school afterewards. Well done girls!
