Cumann na mBunscol 2017 Division 1B Winners!

There were jubilant scenes in Elverys McHale Park on Tuesday evening last when St Angela's had a historic victory in the girls' 2017 Division 1B Cumann na mBunscol competition. We were super proud of our ladies and the commitment and courage they showed during the match. Together with their trainers, Ms Kelly & Ms McNamara these ladies have shown great commitment to train after school and during lunch breaks. Their hard work and determination really paid off and was clearly evident. Congratulations must be extended also to the ladies of Breaffy NS, Ballina and their teachers for the wonderful sporting game we enjoyed and to the match referee Mr Michael McHale.

None of this would be possible without the people who give of their time voluntarily to promote Gaelic Games in a fun and sporting way in our schools - oifigigh Chumann na mBunscol. We thank all involved for this wonderful opportunity and we are confident that memories have been made for life here.
